FINANCE MANAGER ROLE

Salford Credit Union is helping local people get better off- we help people build savings and offer affordable loans.

We’re a cooperative so money stays local and benefits our community- not distant shareholders. This is an important time for the Credit Union- we know that many people are struggling with money so we want to help more people access our services.

We are looking for a new Finance Managercould you use your skills to help others?

The role includes strategic planning and project work as well as budget setting and management, accounting and overview of daily financial processing. The Finance Manager has to ensure regulatory standards and targets are met and the Board and management are kept up-to-date on all relevant financial policy and practice matters. They have to contribute to continued customer service improvement, including of IT systems and processes.

Finance Manager role – 80% FTE- £22,621- £24,000 FTE- £28,276 to £30,000

Because of the nature of the role the successful candidate will need a credit check, DBS check and to become a member of Salford Credit Union.
